The Rambling Rebel
The defense is coming in hooooot. Some much needed talent is coming in so let's skip right past my dumb ass jokes and dive right in.
Javien Hamilton ESPN 4 star CB: Continuing the trend of recruiting good secondary players we've brought in Hamilton. He commited in the summer hasn't waivered and is offically signed. We're losing a lot of the key players in the secondary so he will almost certainly be getting in the thick of things right away. His style of play will hopefully be bring back that Landshark mentality that we've been missing this year and a good portion of the year before.
Markel Winters ESPN 3 star DE: Winters has been back and forth on his commitment but he's decided to stay meaning we've got some much needed help on the D line. He's an athletic player which is something you need to have on a college defensive line. QBs are gonna be shifty and fast so we need pass rushers who won't just fall down at the first sign of scrambling. Overall good sign to start rebuilding the defense.
Brenden Williams 3 star LB: Holy shit thank the lord for this one. Look I'm not gonna lie watching this years linebackers was like watching that final scene from 127 hours and if you haven't seen that movie spoiler alert that scene is fucking brutal to watch. This is big news because he only actually visited last week meaning that he just immediatily decided to commit. The guy is fast physical and exactly what we need to turn this defense around praise Linebackers.
Jordan Ta'amu (what a name) ESPN 3 STAR QB: Another Jason Pelliran qb with a bit more accuracy. This guy was a scrambling master in JUCO which we all know Hugh Freeze loves. My guess he'll be a package guy and second stringer. Hopefully because of the fact he's got a good arm we'll do something other than qb dive whenever he get's in. Could be more of a Brunetti who was big in the redzone with his throwing and scrambling.
So while bowl season begins we get some new boys to get us excited about the season. The 2017 season can not come fast enough.
