I don't know if it's because the New York media is always looking to trash it's players or if everyone is taking crazy pills but c'mon. I couldn't right hot takes like these beat writers and fans have about Eli. Did he have a bad game against the arguably best defense in the league Vikings yes. Was the packers game especially bad yes it was but seriously give me a fucking break. Our fanbase has one of the best quarter backs of the last 2 decades and y'all just can't let the man work. Do you want a guy who ha proven he can make the throws to win a superbowl twice or a guy like Ryan Fitzpatrick who throws 6 picks per game. It's a quarter back driven league and good quarter backs are hard to find let alone future hall of famers. So everyone relax Eli is a bounce back qb every year we have games where he plays like shit but it won't last and for anyone who has the stupidly ridiculous notion we need a new quarter back just go check out the browns if you wanna see what it's like trying to find a quarter back who will win games in this league.
